Whose fault is that?

We're all sinners.

Sin fascinates me.

Consider how the condition of sin affected Adam and Eve. After disobeying Jehovah, they hid themselves and tried to cover their bodies. Commenting on that act, Insight on the Scriptures says: "Sin thus caused them to feel guilt, anxiety, insecurity, shame."

So was the problem The Sin or A&E's response? Are we judged by the mistakes we make, or by how we respond?

As I've written before, my spouse and I, when our daughter was still small, we're watching TV in 東品川。We discussed the issue of teenagers having babies. Kana and I agreed that the problem seemed to be the response of parents and societies. The pregnancy was not the problem. The problem children were the adults who taught their children that they, the adults, always know better. Provide children with a warm, nurturing environment, and they will make good decisions. Enforce a rigid, authoritarian regime and, being human, children will rebel.

When adults accuse children of sinning, who, the child or the adult, are actually sinners?
