The label 'free thinker' is older than English. New thinking has found adherents in every generation. Thinking freely is often associated with more liberal religious leanings.
For many years, We used the agnostic label to refer to ourselves. Was that a lack of faith? If so, does the birth of my daughter, and the accompanying gnosticism, suggest I've found faith?
Or have I just grown tired?
