Racism, religion, class conflict and consumerism fascinate me. We're all racists, perhaps not at this moment, however, if we're not constantly vigilant racism slips through, as does religion, class, greed, etc.
Since arriving in England, I've had a few discussions on race. English, like the Northeastern American left, do a better job disguising their racism than Dixiecrats. In many, many ways, subtle racism is more dangerous than blatant.
Blatant racism is visceral. Size does matter, just rarely in the way most people think. Keep Negroes away from our White women, or they won't want us any more.
Subtle racism is latent, and the racist is usually better educated, well-spoken and introspective. The problem is subtle racists, like so much of humanity today, can't or don't want to take the long view. Why do Blacks not work harder and steal less? If, for centuries, Africans had enslaved and stolen all the good land in Europe, we'd see a lot more slovenly, thieving WASPs.
If your grandparents weren't born in the nation of your residence, there is one sure way to show Whitey (nowadays this is less racial & more class) you're one of them. Complain about immigrants. Another good one is to vote for an immigrant bashing politician, and boast about it in a loud voice & constantly on antisocial media.Nothing persuades yourselves better that you don't break the law (which you need to persuade yourself because you know that, more regularly than you care to admit, you break the law). Your parents never cut corners. Your grandparents emmigrated for morally righteous reasons, not greed.
I was listening to a woman reporter on the UK news giving the world's biggest John a blow job. Not literally. She'd flown across the muddy puddle on AF1, and was waxing poetic. Gratitude is one thing. Sucking off a penis whose primary skills include pandering to the lowest common denominator of the dumbest in the herd is something else. She was saying how behind the scenes Ducky Don does deeds not in keeping with his public persona. She explained this quality, in the best broadcast media tradition, as if that was good. Effectively, 'o yes, he preaches misogynistic, anti immigrant hyperbole, yet in actuality he's empowering the very people he pretends to deride.
Taking into account that broadcast media personnel tend to be the least of one of the most despicable professions, the glaringly obvious issues are
- being two faced is a good thing?
- lying to the voters is okay if you don't act in accordance with your lies.
- stiring up hate and violence is valuable if, behind the scenes, you pretend to play nice In front of the c--k-sucking media.
- I could go on and on. This is boringly easy.
One is reminded of Mr. Obama. If you promise change, the fact that you pretended you gave a s--t is enough for people to think you're a good Negro.
Property crime has frequently, perhaps always, been a bigger problem in England than violent crime. When We lived here in the 1980s, car theft was worse in the UK than the US. Columbine comes to mind. The parents of the shooters in Columbine High School put food on the table, put video games in the TVs, and joined White, Protestant only country clubs by building and exporting weapons of mass destruction. Ya think there kids kan't feel the hypocrisy?
Hm. I wonder, if for centuries you steal one-third of the world's landmass from the folks who were there for millennia, why are they, and your offspring not respecting property rights a few decades later?
