Alhamdulillah (Arabic: ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ, al-Ḥamdu lillāh) is an Arabic phrase meaning "praise be to G[_]d",[1]
Recently I was shopping for foodstuffs. I am accustomed to thanking people in their own language.
Earlier this year I was traveling in Japan with a group of itinerent Buddhists. I explained to one about my ability to parse G_d from electricity. Xhe seemed intrigued. Later on, we were walking in a train of humans on the sidewalk. Xhe said something, and I paused to consider. Then xhe said, or is that something that means one thing when you say it and something else when I say it?
