If We could learn to leave a room like that, he'd be the most popular man on this island.

Recently, whilst at the airport, a handsome young thing and i were discussing where we go from here. Where indeed. Our problem is, there's no clear, real path forward. With eight billion people, one finds many more than eight billion imaginations.
One of my constant themes has been, i hope, change as little as possible. The more one changes, the greater danger of the pendulum effect. Organisatoons such as the EU & the UN are a start. Are they a good start? They could be. Just as easily those organisations, systems, could be a bad start.
I've written of Our problem with the UN before. There is almost nothing the UN can do without the UN looking like the US lapdog. On occasions when the UN does do good and contrary to American interests, does that compensate for all the skullduggery?
Also as we've written of before, the EU, the Uber Empress and I agree, has failed. The UK was right to bail.

So what to do? Shall we tear down those statues? Sink one in a boat to Mars?
The American answer is usually kill 'em all & let God sort 'em out. We've been sorting for some time, and America's not bin listening. Will they listen now?
