I was raised with three elder siblings and one younger. The three elder are extraordinarily control oriented. The two younger, not so much. Why?
Control issues, or a lack of them, have an infinite number of origins. One could speculate forever and be no closer to the truth. Evidence and facts suggest one contrasting condition. My elder siblings were exposed to something that the younger children in our family didn't observe. Watching a younger sibling's environment be meticulously and ubiquitously controlled. With the exception of that difference, BrandiQ can find no empirical reason for the disparity in the lack of, or desire for control.
